“I’m a Project Engineer on NEL, responsible for the structural scope of the project. The thing that I like the most about the engineering and construction industry is that every day is different, and even if we come to the office or go to site with set planned actions, things they always change, and we need to be able to react and adapt.

“The things that excite me the most about the future of construction are the innovation and the technology advances that we are seeing right now across the site, how our crane is performing, our machinery is performing, how our material stock is growing every day and how that material is performing better and is becoming more sustainably produced and impacting the environment less. 

“The legacy that I hope this project leaves behind when it's finished, is something that the whole community of Melbourne and all the surrounding areas can be proud. I know everyone's going to be happy that this project is here once it’s complete, it is going to make their lives easier, and we're going to improve their day-to-day lives by creating increased mobility in Victoria.”
