Meet the Team
Meet Alayah Hill, Resourcing Administrator on Perdaman’s Project Ceres!
Alayah commenced her career at our Australian subsidiary, Clough, at the age of 15 through their tailored Traineeship program. Over the past three years, Alayah has successfully obtained her Certificate II in Workplace Skills and was awarded Apprentice of the Year at the Maxima Group Graduation Night in 2022.
Today, Alayah is an integral member of the Human Resources & Organisation team.
"I began my journey with the Webuild Group in 2021 while still in high school. I was offered a school-based traineeship that lasted for two years, and then I was offered full-time employment. Currently, I am part of the recruitment team working on Project Ceres, a massive landmark project in the northern region of Western Australia.
“I was so happy when I got the call saying the company wanted me to be part of the team. I thought I was too young, but I have been part of the team for about three years now, and it has continued to be such a friendly and welcoming workplace.
“You also don’t have to have everything planned out straight away. The team was very supportive and helpful when deciding what roles I would want to work in. They have continued to support my growth and development by providing mentorship and various opportunities to help me advance in my role.
“The highlights for me have been the people, the culture and the site visits. It’s a great environment in the office, and it’s great to meet the project teams in person and see the projects up close when I get to visit the sites I’m working on.
“I am most excited about growing and developing in my role and eventually moving into a more senior role.
