After 2024 edition, Webuild continues collaboration with Queensland Museum and the prestigious World Science Festival Brisbane (WSFB) for the second consecutive year, in 2025 as an Innovation Partner. 

As a global leader in engineering and construction, Webuild is set to inspire audiences across Queensland by showcasing the dynamic intersection where science meets creativity throughout its projects worldwide. 

WSFB is one of the largest celebrations of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the southern hemisphere. The Festival aims to highlight the critical role STEM plays in shaping the future and tackling global challenges.

The 2025 edition marks a significant milestone, festival’s 10th anniversary, featuring an exciting lineup of world-renowned speakers, scientists, and performers. With over 90 events and 300 sessions, WSFB takes science to new heights, extending its reach beyond Brisbane to regional communities. 

As part of the opening weekend, WSFB hosts a special program in Ipswich at the Queensland Museum Rail Workshops, where Webuild explores the event’s curatorial theme - ‘future of transport’ and showcase its Magnetic Levitation (Maglev) rail activation, an experience not to be missed.

Throughout the festival in Brisbane, visitors can also explore Webuild’s cutting-edge projects at interactive activation sets at Queensland Museum. 

A program of regional engagement will also be delivered throughout the year with festivals held in Toowoomba, Chinchilla, and Townsville, ensuring more Queenslanders can experience the wonder of STEM firsthand. 

in 2024, Webuild has taken the role of main stage sponsor of the City of Science, an action-packed program that encourages the whole family to discover the fun of science.
