As a leading global infrastructure and engineering company, Webuild supports culture and the arts wherever it is developing projects, organising and sponsoring events worldwide in collaboration with prestigious partners.

These initiatives are part of its “Agenda Cultura”, which also includes educational programmes to explain sustainable infrastructure to the general public and how it improves the quality of life in communities.

With its cultural agenda, Webuild supports exhibits and events in markets where it operates, creating value that is shared with communities. By investing in cultural events and exhibits, we foster innovation, celebrate diversity, and promote the exchange of ideas to bring communities together through the power of creativity. 

The initiatives that show the Group’s commitment to culture range from concerts held in the United States to celebrate the 150-year anniversary of the birth of Italian conductor Arturo Toscanini, to the artistic genius of Raffaello, to events revisiting the rescue of the Abu Simbel temples and the photographic exhibit of Rome left deserted during the COVID-19 lockdown.

We have long-standing partnerships with a wide range of Community Partners and organisations who are selected based on their alignment to our five-pillar Corporate Social Responsibility program. 

Inspiring excellence through sports  

Sport has the power to unite people across cultures, and we are delighted to support teams and events that inspire excellence and celebrate the passion, skill, and camaraderie that’s inherent in sport, and reflected in our business. 

Webuild is a sponsor of the Dolphins Mini League, a community initiative aimed at fostering youth sports participation and providing impactful experiences for children in Brisbane's Northern Corridor. 

Webuild was proud to be the main event partner for a historic football event that has brought together two of Italy’s most decorated football clubs for the first time in Australia. 

Supporting the next generation of STEM professionals 

We believe investing in the next generation is key to delivering a more sustainable future. We understand the importance of education in shaping the leaders of tomorrow, and we are proud to play a part in fostering their growth and development. 

We work with universities to deliver meaningful engagement opportunities and scholarships to students across Australia and support a wide range of STEM initiatives to inspire the next generation.
